Logic Roots Pet Me Multiplication and Division Math Board Game

Anthony is in the 4th grade and knee deep into multiplication and division, They have been working on dividing 2×4 digits and multiplying large numbers as well. Having tools to practice at home is crucial. The first week of class he was so bummed when he kept bringing home homework papers filled with 1×1 multiplication problems. “Mom! This is easy. Why do we do like hundreds of these problems every week?”

Last week as he was doing his multiplication homework I reminded him about how upset he was wit the redundant work he had the beginning of the year. “The reason you did those over and over again was to make multiplying 1 digit at a time easier. Now that you are multiplying 3-4 in one problem it makes it faster and bit easier to learn to solve.” Now he got it.

It’s a lot of work sorting out those long division and multiplication problems at this age. Pet Me is here to help. It makes it so much more fun to practice math then those boring white sheets of papers with letters in black to solve with a pencil. He still has to do his homework sheets but just before bedtime we do our “fun” learning time.

Pet Wonderland is full of adorable puppies, kittens and parrots. The theme of the game is a walk in the park. You will win many hearts as you feed them and meet them all. The goal of the game is to win the most hearts. It is about dividing food and love up equally.

Other players check the math and make sure each player is distributing evenly to the animals they encounter. Then sometimes you get an uneven equation and have remainders left over. It is all about landing on spots where the animals are not already adopted (fed) and claim them with hearts earned.

Meatless Monday Recipe – Spicy Thai Broccoli Salad

What is your Meatless Monday go to dish? Goya challenged me with a creative Meatless Monday recipe and I had to use Goya Coconut Milk and/or Cream of Coconut. This recipe is a hybrid. I make a peanut sauce we all love and then took the contents of a standard broccoli salad and instead of the vinegar and mayo, I used my peanut dressing. Hence, the Spicy Thai Broccoli Salad. It was a hit!

My peanut sauce has a bit of a twist from a standard peanut sauce recipe. I use coconut milk and instead of red pepper flakes I use chili powder. It has a kick! The key thing to note is my peanut sauce recipe makes more than you need for the broccoli salad, so keep the rest in a jar to use for another meal that week!

Mirenesse Shona Art Tri-Contour V Face Sculpting Stick

Whether it’s a run to the store or to a family get together I just never seem to leave myself enough time for a full hair and makeup routine. After having long debates with my 9 year old about shorts versus pants on a 30 degree day and the dog just ran through mud and now needs rinsing off and I put on my 8th top before settling on the right one, when would I have time for makeup?

But then a little magic stick appeared in my mail and it was the Mirenesse Shona Art Tri-Contour V Face Sculpting Stick. In 3-4 swipes on my face and/or chest I get a concealer, highlighter and bronzer all in one. A little blending with my sponge leaves my face ready for some blush and eye makeup in at least half the time. Time saved is golden when trying to get out the door.

In looking at the pictures above. The top picture shows how I like to swipe on my Tri-Contour stick on one side then I repeat on the other side and around it is my face with no makeup. I have a few blemishes and uneven skin tone. Once I blend it all in I get a much more even tone and the blemishes are covered. I especially love how well it does around my eyes.

The first thing I noticed, besides the excellent eye coverage, was how light it is to wear. I truly do not feel like I have product on my face. By the time I dab concealer and sponge on bronzer and add some highlighter from my separate bottles I used to use I felt like I as wearing 3 products. Not with this stick!
