One of my favorite bars and grocery pick-ups is the Nature’s Bakery Whole Wheat Fig Bars. I first discovered them a while back when I had a sample offered to me and it was the perfect blend of sweetness from the fig and oats from the crust. Now I have tried the new Oatmeal Crumble from their line and they did not last long in this house – so delicious!
These bars are packed full of goodness that goes beyond just the taste. Nature’s Bakery is made with real fruit for a plant-based snack. Their snack bars are non-GMO, certified vegan and nut & gluten free (some varieties).
You can find a few great snack varieties such as the different fruit whole-wheat fig bars, gluten free fig bars, brownie bars and the new Oatmeal Crumble bars made with real fruit for a morning snack.
You can find Nature’s Bakery products at local grocery stores near you. They are great for the lunch box or in your college care packages!

How adorable are these face masks? That is my dog, Maya on my mask. I think she knows it too. It looks just like her too! Cuddle Clones creates one of the best custom face masks and products I have seen.
Besides the fantastic image quality their face masks have an 8cm x 12 cm filter pouch (for your own filter to fit, not a medical grade N95 mask. It is a multi-layer mask with very comfortable ear straps. Expand to cover your nose and chin. I have ordered several masks for us these past few months, but this is my favorite and one of the best custom face masks I have.
I can’t just stop at the mask! They have tees, golf club covers and even stuffed animals of your pet! I had to make my husband this tee.
On a side note, about Cuddle Clones
As the mask and tee arrived my 12 year old immediately grabbed the mask to claim it and I let him. Then he asked who the “Maya’ shirt was for and I told him it is an XL for Dad. He loved all of this! This kid had straight A’s as COVID hit then suddenly had to finish 6th grade last spring virtually being told grades will not count. He was sort of crushed and sort of adopted a “why did I try” attitude when in the end he got a pass/fail and no letters of accomplishment.
I know as he enters 7th grade and starts another semester (or longer) of different work it might be hard for him to stay motivated. I have my eye on a few gifts as rewards now that I saw how excited he was to see Maya on these items. We have Maya’s sister, Leah and will gift him for his hard work with more from Cuddle Clones!
Whether rewarding a hard working kid or buying a gift for those that are hard to shop for (such as my husband), Cuddle Clones for a pet lover is the perfect gift! From the best custom face masks to apparel and more, visit Cuddle Clones today and take a look!

Raising kids today! Do we really know what we are doing? I sometimes wonder myself. It’s hard today with social media, the internet and now add an epidemic and a mental health crisis. We just hope we raise happy, healthy and active kids in the end. If ever there was a parent guide made for today! Guess what? There is! It is called, The New Art of Raising Happy Kids: Today’s Guide to a Strong, Confident & Caring Child by Alyssa Shaffer.
This book is now available on Amazon as of July 14, 2020. It is a real time parent guide for today from your toddler through the teen years. Who is Alyssa Shaffer?
The Author is a longtime writer and editor who specializes in health, nutrition and fitness, she is the author of four best-selling books on these topics. She is the former executive editor of Muscle & Fitness Hers and fitness director for Fitness magazine and has written for dozens of consumer print magazines and websites. Alyssa lives and works in New York City with her husband, teenage twins, and a very sweet dog who helps alleviate stress with every belly rub.
About the book – The New Art of Raising Happy Kids
The book is a step-by-step parent guide with practical and updated advice on how to address parenting’s most perplexing issues during all the critical stages of childhood — from babies to teens. It covers thorny issues such as managing sleep and nutrition, getting kids to exercise (and off screens), navigating social media, dealing with bullying issues and so much more. It’s a must-read and refer-back book for anyone who has kids and wants them to grow up to be healthy, happy adults with good habits and positive attitudes.
As I read through the book (especially the topics relevant to my tween son), I loved how it breaks into very small sections. When it comes to topics like emotional health, communication and more within the book you get quick, small paragraph points. The organization is fantastic and it makes this book so easy to read and use as a reference to come back to.
