The wife life! Between making school lunches because it’s chili day at school, putting together yet another dinner, mopping the floor when the muddy dogs run through and finishing breakfasts dishes in the sink all I have is my apron. The apron keeps messes off me, is my constant ‘hand towel’ and little piece of fashion I can feel proud of. I have all boys so being in a pretty and practical apron by Madmade with sudsy hands is as exciting as it gets some day.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

The apron hangs on the fridge and when my husband gets home it can stay there. He is a helper. He washes the dinner dishes, folds the laundry I couldn’t get to and keeps the yard and cars in shape.

But it is pretty! Yes, my Madmade apron symbolizes countless meals and messes, but I love it. I love the way it pulls on over my head so it covers all of me in the front and back.

Aside from my chores at home I also manage our local high school kitchen so I also love the fun patterns and colors to wear to work.

The moment my son walks through the door the shoes come off. If I have an outdoor task for him it ends with me upset again he ran outside without shoes on ruining his socks. The kid loves shorts everyday including winter and bare feet! The PRIMUS Junior Mesh Barefoot shoe from VIVOBAREFOOT is the perfect shoe for him!

VIVOBAREFOOT Has many ‘barefoot’ shoe styles for men, women and kids, but for this post I am featuring the Junior Mesh Barefoot shoe.

This shoe is made with breathable mesh with their PRO5 puncture resistant layer. 5x more puncture resistant than a standard sole of the same thickness. The Junior Mesh Barefoot junior shoe is a recycled PET and produced using animal free products and processes. How fantastic is that?!

Anthony did an immediate “ooh-aah” when he put these shoes on. He did examine them first with a look of concern about pulling a shoe on. He has some swim shoes with this pull-on style that are so hard to wiggle his feet into and I know he was thinking these would be the same struggle, but they weren’t! He slid them on with ease. Like any shoe, once worn in they will pull on and off with even more ease.

Japan’s number 1 kids shoes brand - Syunsoku Review

Syunsoku has grown to become the number one kids shoes in Japan since it came about in 2003. What makes this shoe a hit is in the way the soles are made that enable wearers to run with all their strength by keeping their footing when cornering counterclockwise. It is a brand of Achilles and Syunsoku’s proprietary “Sokuiku (foot growth)” design helps children’s feet grow properly as they develop.

In Japanese, “SYUN” stands for “flash”, ”instant”; “SOKU” stands for “feet”. That means that these Syunsoku shoes represent “flash feet”, designed for power and speed.

My son is almost out of boy sizes, but they carry some styles in size 5 so these are the Storm Max shoes in red. This shoe is lightweight and a flat sole so this is a great choice for long distance running. A hollow structure is built into the front of the shoe to release heat and moisture making it a very comfortable shoe when moving or in the heat.

All lines of Syunsoku shoes run near $50 so they are very comparable to other brands that offer fitness and soles for athletes in their running shoes. Anthony immediately noticed how lightweight they are when he put them on. They are a great choice for back to school kids shoes for the kids here in the US. They are unique and a top brand.
