It is alarming to think about just how many Voters we have in our Nation and yet the percentage of those who do not vote is sad. With Christians alone, 40 million Christians do not vote, 25 million are registered, but don’t vote, and 15 million aren’t even registered. In a time where we have conflicts between faith, politics, and our civic responsibilities we need Leaders who want to build relationships to thin the gap in these areas. You need to vote!

God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust not only reminds us what is important to all of us and how we all can come together if we just simply build such relationships, it reminds us to use our voice! This is a must-see this election year and the cast is fantastic!

I had the pleasure of receiving a screener for the movie, Unsung Hero. This true story follows the lives of the band FOR KING + COUNTRY and you have to take your family and friends to see their new film in theaters April 26! Every character has their moment and the value of family and faith is so strong. It was a lot of fun to watch their roles and see how they found their individual talents to use as careers and they stayed close as a family even to this day doing what they love.

Synopsis

When David Smallbone’s successful music company collapses, he moves his family from Australia to the United States in search of a brighter future. With nothing more than their six children, their suitcases, and their love of music, David (for KING + COUNTRY’s Joel Smallbone) and his pregnant wife Helen (Daisy Betts) set out to rebuild their lives from the ground up. I had to opportunity to watch Series 1 ahead of release of County Rescue and am so happy to be able to share this family-friendly new series with you. The season is the story of some EMT’s competing for the sole open position in a fire house. They really don’t like being rivals to each other, especially in a house where they want to feel like they are part of a family. All of the emotions of jealousy, resentment, hope and hard work come out from these characters. They all have reasons for needing this job.

When things seem to feel impossible, it is easy to give up or to even ignore your calling. The lesson here is to never give up or lose hope. If something is meant to happen, it will and in its own way and time. Also, if you know someone who works in a fire house, you know the strong connections they form and you feel that with the entire cast.
