God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust is in theaters Sept. 12th - Giveaway

It is alarming to think about just how many Voters we have in our Nation and yet the percentage of those who do not vote is sad. With Christians alone, 40 million Christians do not vote, 25 million are registered, but don’t vote, and 15 million aren’t even registered. In a time where we have conflicts between faith, politics, and our civic responsibilities we need Leaders who want to build relationships to thin the gap in these areas. You need to vote!

God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust not only reminds us what is important to all of us and how we all can come together if we just simply build such relationships, it reminds us to use our voice! This is a must-see this election year and the cast is fantastic!

Synopsis: Amid political and spiritual turmoil, Reverend David Hill steps up to run for Congress after an incumbent’s sudden death. Battling against Peter Kane, who aims to erase religion from policy, David’s fight becomes a beacon of hope and optimism for people seeking moral leadership in a divided world.

Cabrini in theaters March 8th – Movie Review & Amazon Giveaway

Cabrini in theaters March 8th - Movie Review

I had the pleasure of watching Cabrini as a pre-screen and I am proud to share this film with you! This story is based on the REAL Francesca Cabrini who was canonized by Pope Paul XII in 1946, becoming the first American citizen  to be named saint. Cabrini became the Saint of Immigrants. This film will keep you captivated for the entire, almost 2 hours and 20 minutes.

With a dose of woman power, determination and heart with such intensity Cabrini’s story focuses on helping the poor and, in particular, Italian immigrants that eventually morphs into supporting all immigrants from all over the world. Then, suddenly, it is about any poor and underprivileged human being finding needs for their health, shelter and education. Over the course of 34 years she established an astonishing 67 hospitals, orphanages, and schools. Her energy was fueled by an intense focus on serving Jesus in whatever he asked of her and her legacy still stands today.

Full synopsis of Cabrini:

From Alejandro Monteverde, award-winning director of , comes the powerful epic of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society’s most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.

Watch County Rescue on Great American Pure Flix starting Feb 23

Watch County Rescue on Great American Pure Flix starting Feb 23

I had to opportunity to watch Series 1 ahead of release of County Rescue and am so happy to be able to share this family-friendly new series with you. The season is the story of some EMT’s competing for the sole open position in a fire house. They really don’t like being rivals to each other, especially in a house where they want to feel like they are part of a family. All of the emotions of jealousy, resentment, hope and hard work come out from these characters. They all have reasons for needing this job.

When things seem to feel impossible, it is easy to give up or to even ignore your calling. The lesson here is to never give up or lose hope. If something is meant to happen, it will and in its own way and time. Also, if you know someone who works in a fire house, you know the strong connections they form and you feel that with the entire cast.
