With raising 3 boys ages 10-26 I have learned many lessons. One such lesson is quality over price! I really believe in only having to buy something once and so the quality is the most important factor in items the boys use. Quality is especially important if these items need to last to the next boy and keep passing on down. How does that relate to a scooter?
I can look back and it is safe to guess that I have purchased 4-5 $30-$40 scooters in the past several years. Then Anthony was sent this Xootr MG and I will be shocked if I ever need to buy another scooter again. This one will be around for grandkids one day for sure! Had I known this I wouldn’t have spent over $200 on scooters that are trash now because they did not last or the boys outgrew small features the cheaper scooters provided.
The Xootr MG completely impressed me from the moment I lifted it out of the box. I’d be lying if I told you I did not immediately ride it up and down our entryway and when Anthony asked for a turn on his new scooter I may have told him “in a minute”! I didn’t know how much I loved riding a smooth scooter. The base is wide enough for both my feet and it is so silent as it rolls with the smoothest bearings. This is the only scooter you will buy!
We live in a town where the majority of kids bike and walk to school. All of our schools are within a block form each other in a small town at the base of Mt. Rainier where a bike trail runs through the center. At about 8-9am and again from 3-4pm this trail is littered with kids on foot, bikes and scooters. Having a quality scooter that not only is built to last but can be racked up with a handful of elementary kids on a loaded bike storage space is important. I am confident this Xooter MG will take that beating just fine.
