New on Pure Flix is the series, Going Home. Episodes 1 and 2 are available to watch and I just completed Episode 2, The Cards You’re Dealt. When you have a life partner and you have time to prepare for death, you would think it can become easier. Vance and Betty seemed to arrive at Sunset House hospice prepared for the end of Betty’s life.

In this couple’s life they had fun stories of travel, but you learn they never had children. After multiple miscarriages it was determined Betty could never carry a baby to term and they went on through life as just husband and wife. Betty is so light-hearted and uses humor to get through her illness, but no one is immune to painful memories no matter how long ago.

After sitting on death’s doorstep for some time, she seems to look back on life and feel so much. At the same time, she wants to look ahead at what life can be for Vance without her. He is not in the right health himself and that worries her. You immediately feel a sense of selflessness in Betty.

As the episode comes to an end, she longs to hold those babies in heaven again, she needed help finding after-care for Vance and Nurse Charley (Cynthia Geary) is there to help them cross her last journey. Hospice care is truly Nurse Charley’s calling after her experience of being with her Grandmother during her passing many years ago. I had the pleasure of viewing an early screening of Tyson’s Run. This movie follows Tyson, an Autistic boy, who starts public school for the first time and aside from challenges he faces with his disability in a new school, he also meets new friends and finds a new passion. It is a heart-warming story of overcoming odds, changing perceptions, and a love of winning.

Tyson pits no limits on himself, therefor no one should put limits on him. April is Autism Acceptance Month and Tyson’s Run releases March 11, in plenty of time time to celebrate this awareness. So, get ready to b uy your tickets TODAY to see TYSON’S RUN in theaters!

The favorite Father film from a decade ago is back! Courageous Legacy: 10th Anniversary is updated with a digital remaster, enhanced look and sound along with impact stories, new scenes, and a new bonus ending you don’t want to miss!

I challenge you to watch this film, especially as a Father, and not be encouraged to do even more for your family. But what does ‘more’ mean? You will find out. More means something different to every Father, but most always means presence, listening and forgiveness. It is more than just raising a child to be a great man or woman, it is also when you let your child know they have become one and how to be a great adult and carry on this courageous legacy.

Above is the trailer and below is the Resolution, the ‘I Will’ and the heart of this film. I was privileged to see this film before it hits theaters this weekend, September 24, 2021. I will sed my husband and son to see it in theaters. What a great night out for Father’s and their children! There are a few surprises, some tears and a lot of reflecting that happens as you watch. You will instantly connect with each character in different ways. You will experience wrong-doings, humor, divine intervention, sadness, forgiveness and a handful of hope and promise.
