Believe it or not, you can be monitoring your weight loss the wrong way which leads to inaccurate numbers. If there wasn’t enough to know and have to remember when yo start a new weight loss regimen, you have to know how to monitor your weight loss. But that is all a part of the learning process to reading your body and giving it the attention it deserves.
  1. One of the first steps to starting a weight loss plan is to take the starting measurements. Use a sheet that you can add to and measure yourself weekly! Measure your weight and with a soft measuring tape-your waist, hips & thighs.
  2. Take note of how you weighed yourself on day one and repeat that scenario every time you weigh yourself. Weights fluctuate depending on the time of day. Note what you wore and time & make sure all measurement regimens mimic each other each week.
  3. Take before photos! Hang them visible..put it on your phone. Make sure you have that constant reminder of what you are changing and for whom-you!
I was recently sent the Ozeri Rev Digital Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial. Yes! Another Ozeri review, but it reflects on how much I appreciate the quality of their products. I am in love with this scale and simply because it is so sleek and slim that even though my bathroom is small, it tucks nicely in the corner. The mechanics of the scale could not be any more simple. If you have a scale with electro-mechanical dials like this, you just need to remember that when you move it around or pull it out to use that it senses movement and placement. You need to calibrate it, but that just requires disregarding first weight and stepping back on again. I have set a reminder on my scale that alerts me the same time each day to weigh myself. The best way to monitor your weight is to do weight checks the same time of day since weights will fluctuate throughout the day.

  1. It looks like a REALLY nice scale! I always weigh myself first thing in the morning when I'm in my skivvies. That's how I make sure I stay accurate, hahah
