Last night we did one of our favorite things together as a family and enjoyed a dinner out. One of our favorite places to eat at for dinners and Sunday Brunch is the Bonefish Grill. The food and service is great and even the Manager is around wanting to greet guests here and there as they eat. I love the warm bread and oil they serve as we wait for our food and the desserts are amazing!
The new menu offers a 3 course meal with some beverages to add on as well. The boys played Hangman on the table paper while we waited as they love to do. I also remembered to print my $10 coupon that expires on 4/20 to save on our total bill.
That is our food above! I ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops 3-Course Meal form the Fire & Ice Pre-Fixe Menu and delicious would be an understatement! I had to ask the Manager how they get the perfect crisp on those Yukon potatoes and he explained that they bake the potatoes, then press them to flatten a tad, roll in a special flour mixture and fry a minute or so to get a crisp! I was a bit nervous because I am not a Balsamic fan, but whatever they did to this glaze, I could probably drink it up!
I had my stepson try lamb for his first time because this was cooked so perfectly, he couldn’t possibly dislike it. He loved it!
The boys had fun injecting chocolate and sea salt caramel into their DIY doughnuts that come with the meal and I also ordered the flourless Macadamia Brownie with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce with their homemade whip cream they use on all desserts. So delicious! The burgers above were my husband and son’s meals-the Kobe Beef Burger where our son added bacon and avocado to and my husband decided to try the Crab Cake Sandwich which he personally complimented the Manager on! Crab cakes tend to be a bit heavy and he says this was unlike any he had tried. We also couldn’t resist the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer as we came during happy hour so the menu is cheap then!
The Manager stated to us this has been a very popular menu for them even compared to the others in the past. In the Pacific NW, we love our seafood and the seafood on this menu is cooked in fun ways with unique flavors. We also were told to ask for the saucy shrimp next time. It used to be their signature dish until bang Bang Shrimp took over so it is not on the menu, but they will make it if you ask. It is not fried like the Bang Bang Shrimp, instead is sauteed in a lime-tomato-garlic sauce with feta crumbles and other delicious flavors!

- Blueberry Cold Snap Cocktail: served in a frozen glass made entirely of ice. It’s a house-made infusion of fresh blueberries + Reyka vodka, organic Art in the Age Rhubarb liqueur + lemon. Finished in seasonal fashion with a hint or lavender bitters + aromatic lavender stem.
- DIY Doughnuts: croissant-like doughnut holes, tossed in cinnamon sugar that guests fill with sea salt caramel and chocolate sauce using mini squeezable bottles.
