How do you dress your chili? I am not a spicy food lover so I tend to grab the Progresso Chilis’ that are mild or medium and dress it up a bit. I will use leftovers or different dairy sources to dress up my chili. I made my own Progresso Chili creation by adding corn, shredded mozzarella and sour cream to the Progresso Southwest Style Chicken Chili with Beans. You can’t have Southwest without corn, cheese and sour cream!
Progresso Chili now comes in a pouch for easy serving. No can openers or sharp edges! These can easily be transported to the office for a fulfilling lunch or handled by the older kids as a lunch or fend meal. We do fend nights every so often and the easier the cooking experience, the better or the teenager leaves a huge mess behind! Just empty the pouch in a bowl and heat in the microwave for a low mess meal with no pans! You could also add to a pan, add more ingredients and heat over the stove.
Progresso Chili pouches come in 2 flavors: Southwest Style White Chicken Chili with Beans that includes all-white meat chicken, white beans, green sweet peppers, tomatillos and onions and Smokehouse Pork and Beef Chili with Beans that includes Andouille sausage, beef, and a secret blend of spices, all slow-cooked with tomatoes, onions, green sweet peppers and pinto and red kidney beans. The clear bottoms and pouch packaging maintains freshness and flavor. I was more then full before finishing a pouch and the flavors are robust!
