This is a sponsored post for Milk Bones. I was provided a gift pack and gift card for this post, however all opinions are 100% my own.

You make sure your kids brush their teeth, do you brush your dog’s? You should! The bacteria build up when you do not care for your dog’s teeth lead to big problems! Milk Bone wants to make this task easier for you by allowing your dog to brush his or her own teeth! These Brushing Chews are clinically proven to be just as effective as if you brushed your dog’s teeth twice a day to maintain plaque build up and lessen bad breath. They are designed specifically to reach down to the gum line and reach the back teeth. I found a display at my local Safeway on sale!
Milk Bone Brushing Chews reduce tartar build-up, freshens their breath so your dog can kiss and lick you all over to strengthen that human-animal bond! I cannot claim on Parenting Healthy whether or not they taste good because I am unwilling to chew on myself! So, Gracie proudly chews on these Brushing Chews which makes her kisses as sweet as she is. Gracie is a recent PAWS adoption and is my dog-neice! My sister and BIL woke up one day and told themselves they want a Dog and by noon came home with Gracie and they really lucked out!! She is great and to welcome her to the family, she got her very first box of Brushing Chews thanks to Milk Bone! The Small/Medium were a good size for her and she would have also tolerated the Medium chews just fine as well, I believe.

Gracie’s Smile of approval!

  8. I visited the Milkbone site and something that intrigues me is that they are really stepping up their product selections with healthier choices such as the Milk-Bone® Essentials Plus+® Optimal Health Biscuits that are tasty dog treats packed with essential vitamins & minerals to help support whole-dog health, plus antioxidants, glucosamine, and fiber. I also think the new Milkbone Brushing Chews makes alot of sense for dogs and their owners for ease of teeth cleaning.

  9. In 1908 the first Milk-Bone® Dog Biscuits are made in New York City by F.H. Bennett Biscuit Company in a small bakery on the Lower East Side.
