As MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May1, 2015 tiny superheroes are anxiously awaiting the appearance of their favorite villains and heroes. My son is almost 7 and has every costume from the Avengers. His Thor hammer is the one item that used to go with him everywhere- grocery shopping, movies and in the picture above he was allowed to carry it as Ring Bearer in my Sisters wedding (really, it was our bribe to get him to walk down the aisle and it worked). One shall never separate this boy from his Thor hammer! Even the Holidays and Birthdays were all about Avengers between my son and 2 nephews last year!
With the anticipation of the movie release, the Avengers have turned on their tech powers in the free app full of adventures! The Walmart-sponsored app called, Super Heroes Assemble, is available on iOS and Android platform.
With the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Heroes Assemble app you can use your phone as a portal into MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron content. You get movie and behind-the-scenes action updates, scan Avengers displays at Walmart and  and become an Avenger, enter the interactive Hulkbuster training academy and connect your phone or tablet camera for more fun activities!
Using the Discover feature on the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Heroes Assemble App

When you open the Super Heroes Assemble app, the first icon is titled ‘Discover’. In here you are to search for MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron displays at Walmart and Within the App, you click on each Avengers icon and locate the assigned image to scan. It will use your camera feature so you just need to align the image in the white box that appears and it will grab the image and award you that Avengers character. I found Hulk’s and Iron Man’s display images in-store….

When you have 1 or all of the characters, head over to the home screen icon labeled  ‘Suit Up’. Take your photo or the photo of your child and use the Avengers characters you have collected to suit up! I took a photo of my son and we used the Hulk gear because we have unlocked Hulk from scanning our in-store image and he now has the green fists!
Just as you did in the ‘Discover’ icon with the app, you can scan the same sort of in-store and online images from Walmart to unlock the ‘Photo Op’ section and grab a fun photo session. Scan the images within the ‘360’ icon and you get to unlock the training room!
So head to Walmart and let the kids loose with your phone (or you hold the phone until time to scan if that is safer) and watch them have a blast on the little scavenger hunt within the store. I found my display images on a toy end cap and some in food and electronics. Sometimes they can be on displays near the entrances so look there too!
MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron products at Walmart
While the kids are on the scavenger hunt, you can bring the fun home with MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron toys and snacks. You can find fun toys and even LEGO sets as that is what caught my son’s eye inside Walmart! Because we love Walmart prices-why not get 2 MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron LEGO sets? And so he did plus an MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron ball for some outdoor fun.

Next, you may want some snacks to bring home. We found MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Dr Pepper products and my son’s favorite chips-Doritos! You can even find branded Cheez-its & Kellogg’s Fruit Snacks too!
