Health Benefits of those ‘Bad’ Foods

Many of us stay away from our favorite foods because they have a reputation for being “bad” or unhealthy for us. Being constantly bombarded by nutritional information, it’s often hard to cut through the clutter for a clear answer on which seemingly unhealthy foods are actually not so bad when balanced with an overall healthy lifestyle.

Potatoes: Potatoes are loaded with important nutrients like vitamin C, potassium and magnesium which can aid in stabilizing blood pressure. When preparing potatoes, choose a healthy method like baking, and don’t over do it with salt and other fixings.
Balance is crucial to implementing a successful approach to healthy eating. When certain foods are consumed in moderation and paired with consistent exercise, it creates a more balanced lifestyle. By taking a deeper look into these foods that have long been associated with negative thoughts, we are able to uncover numerous health benefits.
