What type of coffee drinker are you?
Are you a dark roast, light roast or medium roast coffee drinker? In our home the darker the roast, the better! This is why a quality coffee is a must. We do not buy generic brands or shop based on what is on sale. We are true coffee lovers and when you drink a dark roast, a bad coffee is bitter and hard to swallow! I suppose the same is true for the other types, but I truly love the taste of coffee. Yes! I will taste a coffee bean to determine how good it will be brewed! I also watch the ingredients used as many coffees contain ingredients so unnecessary and are not a benefit to anyones health. Kicking Horse Coffee is healthy, organic and sustainable. A Fair Trade product with a staff who also aim to lead healthy lives is a coffee I love to buy.
As a dark roast coffee drinker, I was sent the Kick Ass roast. It is labeled as a dark roast that is sweet. smokey and audacious. It tastes great and I typically need to sweeten some brands, but did not need to for this roast. It comes from a mix of Indonesian and Central American beans and is full of bold attitude. It is a true kick of espresso that beats the calorie count of any energy bar.
