Give the Gift of Art Made by Pediatric Cancer Patients from the Children’s Art Project #HolidayGiftGuide

This is a promotional post for Children’s Art Project

Are you wondering how you can give a  unique gift that may stand out a bit from typical gifts. Perhaps you have the hard-to-shop-for person on your gift list-a boss, co-worker or teacher. It is safe to say that you cannot go wrong gifting an item that has a meaning behind it’s manufacturing and gives back with the purchase. The Children’s Art Project (CAP) is art on useful items designed by pediatric cancer patients. When you give a CAP gift, your recipient will see the name of the child who designed it along with a special label on the back telling them the item was bought from The Children’s Art Project of these pediatric patients.
I was given these adorable eating and stationary sets shown above. They are very well constructed and a lot of fun in the designs!
The Children’s Art Project began in 1973 with a volunteers idea to take the art of the pediatric cancer patients at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and make holiday cards. Since then, the store has grown to more than just holiday cards. You can find, totes, office supplies, jewelry, apparel and more! You can find something for everyone and you are making a difference for young patients. Shop by design or by category and you be inspired to give a gift with a cause.
How your purchase helps

All donation categories are for the cancer patient as they endure their illness or after remission and plan to move on in life. It not only brings a sense of pride and cheerfulness for the kids, but can come back and benefit them in school scholarships and other programs they will forever be eligible for.
  • Child & Adolescent Life Program: To normalize a child’s life in and out of the hospital and bring comfort before procedures
  • Educational Programs: Maintains the appropriate education level in and outside of treatment. Ca support Hospital classrooms or liaison services with outside schools
  • College & Graduate School Scholarships: For current and former patients
  • Camp Star Trails: Overnight summer camp for patients and their siblings
  • And many more…

Here is a little more inspiration to give a gift that keeps on giving

Give a gift that matters, not just to your recipient but to the child who designed it! It is the perfect gift that will work for anyone on your gift list year round! Keep The Children’s Art Project in mind with your holiday shopping.
