Educational Insights: Hot Dots

I have a Kindergartener and we just finished conferences a few weeks ago. I was such a proud Mommy to learn just how well he has been doing and seems to meet above expectation standards in Math and Reading. From the day he was born and as he passed milestones and learning curves, I always believed in offering him toys and educational products that were a step above his capability. I would look at age recommendations and get him products above his age level. It was not to frustrate him because I would play with hi and encourage him and make a game of the challenges of his toys or lessons.

Today he is a 5 year old that gets so excited about every smiley face and start he gets and comes home so excited after mastering a lesson or game in school. I look at him now and only worry that perhaps he gets a bit bored at his lessons and I see him do that at home. I just began 1st grade lessons with him now and was sent the Hot Dots Let’s Master Grade 1 Math set from Educational Insights. This is going to start a new road in Math-the grade level road! We will continue these lessons through the summer and by this time next year as he is well into Grade 1, I would start Grade 2 with him as to stay on my path of providing him a slight challenge and plenty of fun rewards.
