This is a promotional post for Regnery Kids & Freddy the Frogcaster

Freddy the Forecaster
by Janice Dean
Available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and BAM!
When you are intrigued at something from a young child and hold that passion as you age, you become great and a bit of a prodigy in what you love. Freddy has been fascinated with predicting the weather since saying his very first word-Rain! He has all the weather gadgets he needs to make his predictions then compare them to the great Weather gal in town. He seems to be spot on every time. But others begin to really count on Freddy when the regular Frogcaster takes leave and her replacement is not as successful at forecasting.
A is 6 years old and so intrigued with absorbing knowledge. When he asked me what Freddy the Forecaster was about, all I had to say is it is a book that will teach you about weather. He was all over that and couldn’t wait to read it. There is so much more to this book than just the story.
After the story, you will find some fun weather facts and lessons about weather. On the book page, you can even download fun weather science projects. This is a great book if you live in stormy areas and have a child with a bit of storm anxiety. This story really helps them understand that we have the instruments needed to plan a head and forecast well. Once they understand that we can all be prepared in time may bring them comfort.
Disclosure: Parenting Healthy was provided the above book. All opinions are 100% my own
