Sample sent for feature
When it comes to those busy sports nights and school functions I rely on my slow cooker for meals. I love my slow cooker, but it would be nice to add a few features to it. There are some dessert recipes I have that would be great under pressure and I wis my slow cooker held more as well. This is where having a multi-cooker comes in and when it is a Fagor Lux Multi-Cooker, you can toss or giveaway your standard slow cooker because it handles this recipes like a champ.
The first note about the Fagor Lux is that it is now available in 2 new fall colors-Champagne(above) and Copper. The features of cooking are fantastic
- Pressure Cooking
- Slow Cooking
- Rice Cooker
- Yogurt Maker
- Brown & Saute before cooking
- Simmer sauces
- Steam veggies and fish
- Time Delay-up to 6 hours
There are 3 size options, 4qt, 6qt and 8qt. They have a light grey ceramic coated removable cooking pot. The removable cooking pot is nonstick and dishwasher safe. For customers who don’t care for ceramic coating, FAGOR also offers a stainless steel alternative in all three sizes.
The Fagor Lux has a self-locking lid, automatic pressure release setting and two independent pressure control valves. It comes with a 4-digit LED screen and soft-touch controls including Plus and Minus buttons for easy time adjustment. Also included is manual and recipe book in color with many more downloadable recipes.
I used my Fagor Lux Multi-Cooker to pressure cook a swedish meatball recipe. I used frozen meatballs, made the sauce and added it to the pot. Chose pressure cook and set to 15 minutes then let it vent naturally and it was perfection!
