Fun Facts about Holiday Hosting and S.O.S Steel Wool Soap Pads Giveaway

Recently S.O.S. hosted a national online survey and found that the number one thing people enjoy about the holiday season is spending time with family and friends. Second, is enjoying the food. As for the worst part of the Holidays hosting a holiday meal, respondents ranked ‘cleaning up’ as number one (69.3%), shopping number two (17.8%) and finally cooking (12.9%).

In this survey it was found that on average we spend 2-3 hours a week doing dishes and when food and family gatherings are the hit over the Holidays you can imagine that amount of time increases. When do you wash the dishes after a gathering? I do mine right away and so does the majority. Others wait until the next morning. I always feel it is too hard to wait until morning to scrape the dried food off.

The scrubbing power and the soap built right in, S.O.S Pads quickly cut through grease and baked-on food on even the toughest of dishes. Caramelized sugar, burnt-on cheese, dried-on baked goods and deep coffee stains are no match for S.O.S – even when left in the sink overnight. They even work great on cleaning those oven racks!

Visit the S.O.S. website to see all the scents and products available to get you out of the kitchen quickly and back to your family!

I never thought to clean garbage cans with an SOS pad. I use them a lot cleaning pots and pans especially.
