2 years ago I entered my 40’s. My younger self was athletic and slim. I never had to watch what I ate and I was just healthy and fit without much effort. As I was nearing the end of my 30’s I began to wonder how much longer it would be before worsening health and weight changes caught up to me. 40! That was the magic number. It all went downhill from there a bit.
In the past 2 years I have become blessed with my dad’s high blood pressure, cartilage issues in my knees from the 7 years of ice skating and playing catcher in softball when younger. I have a slipped disc in my neck that is very painful when it flares up and I am growing gray hairs! Yikes!
I always hoped I would get that beautiful white hair like my Grandmother had when she aged, but mine are silver/gray strands of hair. I can’t do much to get rid of neck and knee pain and I cannot suddenly cure my own blood pressure woes, but I can do something to cover gray roots. I don’t even have to visit a salon to keep the gray away! I use Gray Away Temporary Root Concealer Spray (light brown for my hair color).
If all you need are minor touch ups or to hide gray in the brow line Gray Away does make a Root Touch-Up Quick Stick. I have been using the spray because it takes seconds and I can style like normal and be on my way.
What I love about using Gray Away isn’t just that the cost is under $10 and you can readily buy online or in-store at Walmart stores or Ulta Beauty and CVS Pharmacy, but it is so easy to use so you can touch up and cover those gray roots.
I have even seen Gray Away products available in my Ibotta app for extra savings. It has never been so easy to touch up my stubborn gray roots. It truly is as easy as aiming the nozzle to the areas around the roots, spray and go.
Entering your 40’s isn’t all bad, but we find ourselves in scenarios at this age that cause us to truly miss our youth and that can be helped. Gray roots, aging skin – all are accessible to great beauty products to help us bring a bit of our youth back. To buy a $10 bottle of Gray Away Temporary Root Concealer Spray and style my hair for the day, reminds me that after 3 kids, 42 years and a house to maintain more than ever that I am still a woman with decades of beauty left. You are no different!
