I was recently sent the children’s book: BEEBEAR for review and my son loves it! It is a hardcover book that aims to help kids and adults read together. My son is entering Kindergarten this fall and this is a perfect beginner book. I love the poetry of the stories.

The book has a short poem or story on each page. It journals the friendship between a bear and a bee that met when each other had something they each wanted. They go to movies together, ride in cars together, play and help each other. The colors and illustrations really stand out and some of the pages are real funny and had my son laughing.
In one story, Bear looses Bee and is about to sit on him and Bee has that expression of “I Dare You!” My son laughed as Bear almost got his tush stung! He also loved the short poem about Bear & Bee going to the movies-Bear can see and is having fun. Bee, on the other hand, is a bit short and cannot see the movie as well and is pouting.
This book is unique in that it is a story of friendship in an unlikely way and it is poetry. The stories are anywhere from about 3-5 sentences each and you get through the stories easily in one bedtime story session with your child. There is rhyming and simple words for the beginning readers. For the younger readers, the colors and characters will amuse them.
You can find Beebear at Amazon!
