The days and nights are getting colder and perhaps the cold cereal in the morning needs a warm touch. Bakery on Main has been bringing natural foods to us as they roll into specialty stores. Now there is a new hot, grain cereal. The two I have are the unsweetened varieties. They do have that grain taste to them and perhaps you don’t even need to sweeten on your own. I think the Quinoa Multigrain is great on it’s own and I did add honey (my so adds yogurt) to the Amaranth Multigrain. Honey is great at the cold and flu season anyhow so it’s a great way to get honey and grains in my day.

These varieties are oat-free and certified gluten-free. It is the hot cereal you love with the touch of grains. They make a great source of fiber, ALA Omega-3 and have 27.5 grams of whole grains.

Inside the box are individual packets. Simply tear open, add water and microwave. You can add some honey, fruit or other toppings as desired to give it the flavor you want.
