In my recent book Love Should Not Hurt: Letting Go of the Pain to Live in Freedom, I not only discuss my past abusive relationship and how I became a victim of Domestic Violence but I discuss the aftermath of leaving such a violent lifestyle. I talk about my escape and the fall of emotions that happened as I was healing.
To leave an abusive relationship is dangerous, but sometimes staying is even more dangerous. A normal lifestyle can happen, but it is a slow healing process. Anxiety, depression and paranoia are common fall outs from living years as a victim, but healing is possible. And you will come to a point in your life where you realize that Love does not have hurt!
As a sneak peek into my book, I will pull 3 quotes that are my own words. I am a Domestic Violence survivor and these words are real-not just for me, but for anyone who has been through an abusive relationship or a fall of emotions for any reason.
