Holiday Gift Guide Feature: Timber Press Books
For the past year or so I have begun adding books to my gift list. I know that some may say that books are replaced by online information today. But, the reason I started buying books was that they make great support and backdrops to certain gifts. I may buy someone a gift card for coffee and wrapping it up with a book about coffee or some other fun title makes the gift a bit more special than just a gift card in a birthday or holiday card. You can buy a parenting book with a department store gift card or a foodie and wine book with a restaurant gift card.
They also work great in themed gift baskets you can make. I live in Washington State and had a lot of fun choosing books to gift my Pacific NW friends and family this season. These titles are available through Timber Press and not just exclusive to the Northwest You as will find many home and garden books to enjoy.
Essential Wines and Wineries of the Pacific Northwest makes a great gift to pair with some local wine or a gift card to a restaurant. This book covers Wineries in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. Plus there are some extra tips and features along the way such as grape varieties and climate zones. The pages are large and photography is gorgeous. We all know a wine-lover and they will love this book or one similar to enjoy.
Garden and Outdoor DIY Enthusiasts
Do you know a plant or outdoor garden lover? I know a few and I was not blessed with that green thumb so I really enjoy what my friends and family can do with their yards. I also love having a handy guide for those times I attempt to plant in my front area. This book is so pretty and large that putting it in a basket with some seeds and garden essentials would make a beautiful gift.
Has the adult coloring fab bit you or someone on your gift list. Finding an exclusive coloring book such as this one for with Pacific NW images and themes is a special gift for someone from teen to elderly. The pages are full of illustrations to color from plants and salmon to places and animals that are all a part of our Pacific Northwest.
If you need more ideas, visit Timber Press and browse all of their titles.

Thank your for these suggestions…I have plenty of grand nieces and nephews who will be getting some different Christmas gifts
I agree, all three of these books would make wonderful Holiday gifts! 🙂 I personally LOVE books, all kinds and genres! I recently started collecting cookbooks, I can never get enough!
