A few weeks ago I had stopped running my usual 2 mile daily run due to a nasty cold that went to my chest. It took almost 2 weeks to get rid of it before I was not too winded to run again. I started back on a Sunday afternoon on the same route and in my same shoes as usual. The next morning I could hardly get down the stairs. I had the worst pain in my shins! I have never had shin pain in my life so when the pain was still there Tuesday, I stupidly thought I just need to run again. Like sore muscles, to keep exercising helps my sore body. Tuesday night I was in the worst pain yet!  Walking was so painful and I can take pain, but this was bad! I started asking around and was told they were shin splints. My first thought was will I be able to run again? With proper care and ease I can!
I went out and spent a lot on an athletic tape to wrap my shins. I iced them, rested and did stretches. Then I was asked to review the Dynamic Athletic Tape-talk about perfect timing! I kept using this other tape I bought until my Dynamic Tape arrived. As I took it out of that packaging, I immediately felt the difference in this tape. What I was using was thick and a bit uncomfortable, Dynamic Tape was almost like a fabric and thin for comfort. Plus the designs were fun. My old stuff was boring! I switched to Dynamic Tape and will never go back to the old tape again! Such a difference!

  1. Doesn't hurt at all. Of course you get a better hold when skin is free of hair and lotions so if I had hairy legs, perhaps the sensation would be a tad different! lol It is a very gentle tape
