I decided to support our New (Resolution) Budget Goal by creating Menu Plans so I only shop for what I need each week. So far so good….

I made my Meal Plan and listed the ingredients I need…checked off what I already have…checked coupons then Grocery Ads for what I needed…made my list of what to buy and where….hit QFC and Safeway and spent on $101.13 for all my groceries and household items. I know that some of the items I bought were to stock me back up on what I will be able to re use in future menu plans. I am hoping as I am stocked up and create plans to use what I already have, that I can lower my weekly bill for a family of 4!

Saturday was out to dinner since we were to be home late. We allow 1 night out a Pay Period which will be hard for us! We eat out a lot and waste so much money that way.

Sunday: Left Over Pork (roast) BBQ sandwiches, Alexia Onion Rings, Broccoli

Monday: Chicken Sausage & Potato Casserole, Corn

Tuesday: Panko Chicken Spaghetti w/ Vodka Sauce

Wednesday: Homemade Creamy Basil Soup Sourdough Bread

Thursday starts my now week after a new set of Ads and specials start on Wed! I only started my meal plan Friday w/ Crock Pot Pork Roast.

I am going to stay committed! Boiling the Potatoes now for tomorrows casserole since I work all day tomorrow!
