As Summer approaches, I have been keeping my eye out on grilling recipes. i have almost half a cow in my freezer and need to get creative so we don’t tire of our steaks and roasts. My favorite way to eat steak is grilled, so I am excited for better weather so we can hit the back deck with some fresh recipes. In searching around, I have come across some funky recipes to grill food I never thought was grillable! Maybe it is not odd to some, but it was to me. Hmmm. I will have to try this to decide if grilled is the way to eat Watermelon, for real! Cut wedges at least 1/2 inch thick and brush w/ an Olive oil mixture. You can add minced onion or garlic, some S&P, herbs. Then Grill about 2 minutes on each side. Top with Fudge, Ice Cream or Fruit. Here is a recipe from Food Network.
