Last night we saw the Live Spectacular of How To Train Your Dragon and it was fantastic! We got inside and went straight to the Souvenirs…the prices were great! So many items under $20 made it easy to allow my son plenty of choices to pick from for toys. He chose the Light Up Medallion and feather Flashlight. At the end of the show, he wished he chose the Wings!

The show itself was a success. The story line was kept simple. My son was a bit intimidated when the first Dragon appeared although I expected that with him. After I showed him the mechanical features and whispered how the actors on stage are OK with it, he calmed right down.

There was a bit of dancing and comedy sketches for us Parents to pick up on. There was fire and special effects that allowed actors to scale a wall as if running up a hill. The background screen and stage floor was decorated in the scenery of special light effects. My son loves Hiccup and was glued to his character the entire time. The Vikings were hilarious. And they did an excellent job on the Dragons. Toothless became almost real life in that you get caught in the emotions between him and Hiccup! My son has not stopped talking about it and the length of just under 2 hours (including a 20 minute break) was perfect!
If you can still catch it in your area, I highly recommend taking the kids or Grand kids! They will never forget this show! Here is the rest of the Line Up:
