Edge Khor Safety Glasses

Boys! Quads and dirt; busy and outdoors! I am a MOM to boys! This time of year the boys are anxiously awaiting the spring and summer and our quads stay parked in the trailer sitting still and resting from being worked hard last season! In that trailer are other equipment necessary for us to spend a day in the sand and sun. We have our helmets, sunblock, First Aid Kit, tools, gloves and always-the glasses! Now sometimes we get a cloudy day, but glasses remain a necessity as without them we end up picking sand from our eyes all day! Riding behind our middle son will surely produce sand in your face, he is the most reckless rider!

I found Edge Khor Polarized Safety Glasses that my son and husband are already fighting over who gets these next season. The glare of sun and sand is dangerous, not just with the effects of UV but the glare can make a mountain seem like a small hill and we have taken inexperienced riders out who ended the day injured by their misjudging a sand hill. I love the variety of lenses you get. The polarized are great for the less sunny days, but the anti glare ones are great for the sunset or glare troubleshooting times of day. I even whipped these out during the snow days we had and they worked great as an anti-glare when I drove. We had snow then the next day the sun came out and the morning glare was horrible! I was so glad I had these and can’t wait to try them next season when we will need them most.

  1. I expected the sun glasses to be more than what they are. A lot of designer shades are $100+, but $40 seems reasonable. I wouldn't spend more than $10 for casual shades, but these are obviously for sports. 🙂

  2. I think eye protection is one of the most important things we can do for our kids and even for ourselves. It is something overlooked too often in my opinion. Good for you for making it a priority.

  3. Good quality sunglasses are incredibly important (and these look like good ones). I think eye protection is one area people really overlook, and for their kids too. Low-quality sunglasses do more harm than good.
