Crunchy Protein Peanut Butter Bars
- 1 C Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 3/4 C Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Packet Carrington Farms Flax Hemp Seeds
- 1 Large Room Temperature Egg
- 1/2 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 C Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
Mix the peanut butter, sugar, baking soda and salt until well blended. Add vanilla, seeds and egg and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and oats. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 22 minutes in a lined or sprayed 8×8 baking pan.
I have this recipe I used after finding it online at http://www.wellplated.com/peanut-butter-oatmeal-bars/. I changed it by adding seeds and making them crunchy, but credit is still due!
