Every holiday season while I budget to save and shop for all those on my gift list, there is one thing I do for myself throughout all of the great deals. I find a section of my home to refresh. Last year I needed new towels bad for the bath so I donated my old towels and restocked with brand new including new curtain and rugs for 2 of our 3 bathrooms. This year I am updating our bed with Eclipse.
We are beginning to house hunt so I didn’t want to make any structural changes and without knowing layouts of rooms in the new home, I don’t want to paint or do bathrooms or lighting. What we really need is attention to our bed with refreshed pillows and linens and that can be done whether we move or not.
What I love about Eclipse curtains is the black out curtain options they make. With daylight savings it is now a tad lighter earlier which is great to motivate us adults to get up, but also causes my younger son to think it is time to get up when in fact it is still early. Having blackout curtains allows me to control the light that comes into his room. It also makes for great decor around the home such as in front of sliders and large windows that sit right in the sun rise or set.
I knew Eclipse made curtains since I have used these for sometime, but did you know they are bedding too? The set I now have below is the Montfort 3-Piece Comforter Set. I love the navy and white as it has an elegant design, but colors my husband loves as well. I have always tried to keep room decor something in his taste instead of designing a room that only a woman could love.
I love the feel and weight of this comforter. We both get hot at night and this is not too heavy, but the material is so comfortable that to snuggle up on a very cold night will still bring a good sleep.
Ellery Homestyles is the parent company for Eclipse and that is where you can find bedding collections. Of the Eclipse brand, the bedding I have is from the Eclipse Sundown line. The 3-Piece set includes a comforter and 2 shams and retails around $35. It is a bargain for the quality you can feel.
Find more Eclips products at many retailers near you and online so you can perhaps redo a bedroom or some windows this season. They make great gifts for the holidays or house warming parties as well. Eclipse curtains are available at Family Dollar, and at Walmart and Walmart.com
